Safety
We ask that you continue to use hand sanitizer throughout the Feejee Mermaid attractions. Surfaces and props are regularly sanitized, and replaced as necessary. There is a new fire alarm system throughout the building. All public and game areas are monitored by CCTV and microphones for your safety and as part of the various games. Staff are fully prepared for emergency situations and will be on hand to assist whenever needed.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Wednesday to Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday, every week - please check our booking calendar for availability. We operate on an appointment basis and don’t accept drop-ins, so please book ahead.
How much is a game?
We aim to keep our pricing competitive and good value for our visitors. Pricing is currently set at £80 per adventure, regardless of number of players.
Should we arrive early?
On your arrival at the upstairs reception please let staff know you have a Reynards booking.
A Reynards guide will greet you at your booked time and take you to the adventure suite. Your adventure includes a short briefing before your expedition, and time to securely store anything you do not want to take into the adventure with you. You are welcome to take some time after your adventure to collect your things and take group photos should you wish.
We ask that you observe your booking time as your lateness will impact on groups following your booking. Therefore if you are more than 15 minutes late we will not be able to accommodate you and will treat your booking as a no-show, in which case no refunds will be offered.
We have turned up with a friend. Can the extra person play?
Total group numbers cannot exceed the game room limit for your booking, as this is a safety protocol maximum. If you arrive with more players than your room will accommodate, the extra players will not be able to take part.
How do we book?
Visit the booking calendars for each game room here, with secure online card payment for your convenience, safety and peace of mind.
Cancellations
We can accept cancellations with a full refund up to 48 hours before your booked game. After this point we cannot accept a cancellation. Please contact us at info@reynardsadventures.com

Where are you?
Reynard's Adventures is in Mansfield House, on Silver Street and Mansfield Road, Taunton. The postcode is TA1 3DN. There is a map on this page.
If you are using What3Words, our front door is at ///rust.foal.squad, a single black door on Silver Street. Come up the stairs to the reception and let staff know you have a Reynard's Adventures appointment.

Are you dog friendly?
We are very happy to welcome very well behaved dogs, and have had a few very happy doggy adventurers channelling their finest Snowy, Lassie, Timmy or Scooby-Doo. Your goodest good boy or girl can join in the fun and play alongside your team.
What are the age limits?
Unaccompanied players must be 16 or older. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. The adventure games are entirely suitable for all ages, with nothing inappropriate or 'horror' involved. Contrary to expectations, nobody is jumping out at you. Honest.
Is it scary? Is it difficult?
Our games are designed to create excitement and suspense, but we are not trying to frighten you. We don’t offer horror games, there are no monsters, zombies or jump-scares. We hope our games aren’t too easy, but they’re not likely to be impossibly difficult either. We want you to experience a great adventure, and not to be stuck at the first step and miss the rest of the story. You will not need any outside special information – everything you need will be in the game. Just bring a sense of adventure and an open mind.

Do you really lock us in?
No. Our game rooms are adventures and the aim is not simply to 'escape from the room', as it was back in the early days of 'escape rooms'. We never lock you in, and if you need to you can leave the game room at any time during your game.
Dress for the occasion
Adventuring can be a dirty business. We strongly advise you not to wear your best party dress because ancient temples and tombs can be a bit dusty. Safe, flat shoes will help, too.
We want to make your visit a fun, memorable occasion, and offer a small wardrobe of costume and accessories in keeping with the themes of each room which you are welcome to use for your own photographs. You are also very welcome to come along in your own adventurer's gear, but if you don’t want to dress up there is no pressure to do so.
Group size? Large groups? Parties?
Game rooms are suitable for 2 to 4 players, with the minimum and maximum number listed clearly in each room description. If we feel that a particular game room requires at least a certain number of players we will also make this very clear in the room description. Group numbers will not necessarily make things easier, or more difficult. Larger groups can be accommodated across several game rooms, and the Hurricane Lounge will be available soon for you to relax and recount stirring tales of your adventures.
Is there parking?
We do not have on-site parking, but we are sited in the centre of town where there are large public car parks within a minute or two walk of our location.
Hospitality?
Make your adventure a real expedition - take in the sights and sounds of the Hurricane Lounge which will be available shortly for use before and after your adventure, and for large groups and celebrations. The Mansfield Mysteries adventure games will become available later this year, along with the Crypt of Frankenstein from our room-mates at Grim and Greymalkin Studios. If you have a special occasion in mind speak to our staff to plan anything from birthdays, film nights, corporate events in our unique setting.
